A timeline, honestly scoped
The Gantt chart has been the picture of a plan since Henry Gantt drew the first ones for factory scheduling in the 1910s, and the reason it survived is that it answers the question every stakeholder asks — what happens when, and what overlaps — in one glance. This maker draws exactly that: bars on a day grid with week lines, weekends shaded, a red ‘today’ line so the chart stays useful once the project is running, and the owner's name on each bar. What it deliberately isn't is project-management software: no dependencies, critical path, resource levelling or per-task progress, no sharing or sync. For a launch, an event, a renovation, a course timetable or a client proposal that is the right size; for a 300-task programme with dependencies you need the heavy tools. Export the PNG for the deck and the CSV for the spreadsheet. The working days calculator counts business days in a bar, the kanban board tracks the tasks day to day, and the meeting planner finds the review slot across time zones.

Not in this tool — it draws bars from dates you set. Sequence tasks by giving the next one a start after the previous one’s end.

What size is the PNG?
1100 pixels wide, with the height following the number of tasks — sharp on a slide. Give the project a title and it appears on the image.
