Water Intake Tracker
Daily water goal, one-tap logging and streaks.
About this tool
Set your weight, exercise and climate (or your own goal), then tap a glass, mug or bottle each time you drink; the ring shows today's progress and the chart shows your last 14 days and streak.
How much water do you need?
There is no single number for everyone. The European Food Safety Authority suggests about 2.0 litres a day of total water for women and 2.5 litres for men, and the US National Academies about 2.7 and 3.7 litres, with roughly a fifth usually coming from food. This tracker starts from a common practical guideline of about 35 ml per kilogram of body weight, adds about 350 ml for every 30 minutes of exercise and 500 ml in hot or humid weather, and keeps the goal between 1.5 and 4.5 litres; you can set your own instead. All drinks count, including tea, coffee and milk; water-rich foods add more. Thirst and pale-yellow urine are good everyday guides, and more is not always better: drinking very large amounts quickly can be harmful. Tap the size you drank, undo mistakes, and build a streak of days on target; history is kept for the last few months in this browser. Honest limits: needs vary with health, pregnancy, breastfeeding, medication and activity, and people with heart or kidney conditions may be told to limit fluids, so follow your doctor's advice; this is not medical advice. The calorie calculator and the habit tracker are related.
