Video Watermark

Stamp text or a logo onto every frame of a video — position, size, opacity.

About this tool

Type a text watermark or upload a logo (transparent PNG works best), place it in a corner or centre, set size and opacity, check the preview frame, and re-encode. WebM out with sound, nothing uploaded.

What a watermark does and doesn't protect

A watermark is attribution and deterrence: it keeps your name on a clip that gets reposted, brands previews you send to clients, and makes casual theft not worth the effort. It is not protection — a corner mark can be cropped away, and a determined person can paint over a centred one — so the durable choice is semi-transparent, reasonably large, and over the content rather than in the empty corner, which this tool's centre option and opacity slider are for. Text is drawn with a soft dark backing so it reads on any footage; logos keep their transparency. Because browsers can't edit video files in place, the honest method is a real-time re-record with the overlay drawn on every frame, so the clip's length is the processing time and the output is WebM (MP4 conversion where supported), re-encoded at 4 Mbps. Make a text-and-logo image first with the text-to-image tool if you want a designed mark; the image watermark tool does the same job for photos.

Frequently asked questions

Where should I put the watermark?

Corners are conventional and easy to crop out; a semi-transparent mark over the centre survives reposting best. Set opacity around 50–60% so it doesn't ruin the picture.

Can I use my logo?

Yes — choose an image; a PNG with a transparent background looks cleanest. Its size is set as a percentage of the frame width.

Does it keep the sound?

Yes — the soundtrack is recorded along with the watermarked picture.

Is the video uploaded?

No — the overlay and re-encode happen in your browser, in real time.
