About this tool
Pick one or more trip types, the number of days and the expected weather, and the tool assembles a list — clothing scaled to the days, toiletries, documents, electronics, and the type-specific items people forget (adapter, swim goggles, blister plasters, chargers). Add your own, tick as you pack, keep the list for the return.
The list you make at midnight
Packing lists fail when they are written the night before, which is when you forget the phone charger and the medication. Generating the list from the trip type moves the thinking earlier and reuses what every traveller learns the hard way: clothing quantities scale with days up to about a week (then you find a washing machine), documents and medication go in hand luggage, and every trip needs one item you only remember at the airport. Edit freely — the generated list is a starting point that knows nothing about you. Ticks and custom items stay in this browser, so the list is on your phone at the hotel for the repack home.
