Medication Schedule Maker

A printable weekly medicine chart with tick boxes for every dose.

About this tool

List each medicine as name and dose | when | instructions, for example "Metformin 500 mg | morning, evening | with food". The tool groups doses by time of day, adds your chosen clock times, and draws a 7-day chart with a box to tick for every dose. Medicines taken "as needed" are listed separately. Print the chart or copy the text summary into a phone note.

Staying on top of several medicines

Managing several medicines, whether for yourself, a parent you care for or after a hospital stay, is easier when you can see at a glance what's due and whether it's been taken. Missed or doubled doses are among the most common medication problems, and a simple tick chart is a well-tried way to avoid them. The 'when' column understands everyday wording: morning or breakfast, midday or lunch, evening or dinner, bedtime or night, "2 times a day" and "as needed". The example's five medicines come to five scheduled doses a day, with paracetamol kept to the as-needed list and its maximum noted. Set the clock times your doctor or pharmacist suggested, add their phone numbers at the bottom, and print a fresh chart each week. Keep the chart with the medicines, and take it, or the text summary, to appointments so everyone sees the same list. Ask your pharmacist about a dosette box or blister packs if you're managing many tablets. Important: this is an organiser, not medical advice. It doesn't check doses, timing or interactions. Always follow the label and the instructions from your prescriber or pharmacist, and ask them before changing anything. The draft is saved in your browser, so use Start over to clear it on a shared computer. The habit tracker, the daily planner and the timer are related.

Frequently asked questions

How do I make a medication schedule?

List each medicine with its dose and when it's taken. The tool groups them by time of day and prints a weekly chart with tick boxes.

Does this tool check doses or interactions?

No. It only organises what you enter. Ask your doctor or pharmacist about doses, timing and interactions.

What does 'as needed' do?

Medicines marked 'as needed' (PRN) are listed separately instead of getting a fixed time.

Is my medicine list stored?

Only in this browser, so you can reprint it. It's never uploaded, and Start over clears it.
