How do I control the order?

Images join in the order you picked them โ€” the numbered chips show it, and removing a chip re-flows the rest. Re-add a file to move it to the end.

What does 'match sizes' actually do?

Scales every image to the smallest one's height (side-by-side) or width (stacked) so edges align cleanly. Off, images keep exact pixels and centre in the row or column.

Is there a limit on how many images?

No fixed cap โ€” memory is the only limit. Very wide merges of many 4K photos can exceed what a phone browser will canvas; a laptop goes further.

Does the output lose quality?

No โ€” output is PNG at the merged resolution, lossless from what was drawn. Scaling from size-matching is the only resampling that ever happens.
