Posting an Instagram grid correctly
The part that catches people out: post the tiles in reverse order. Your profile shows the most recent post first, top-left, and fills across then down. So the last tile you post is the one that ends up top-left.
Working backwards from the bottom-right tile means uploading tile 3-3 first, then 3-2, 3-1, then 2-3 and so on, finishing with 1-1. Get it wrong and the picture assembles mirrored and upside down, with no way to fix it short of deleting and starting again.
Tiles here are named row-then-column โ tile-1-1 is top-left โ so working backwards is just reading the list from the bottom.
