Social Media Image Resizer
One photo to every Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn and YouTube size, as a ZIP.
About this tool
Upload a photo and the tool draws it at seventeen current platform sizes at once β Instagram square, portrait and story, Facebook link and cover, X post and header, LinkedIn post and banners, YouTube thumbnail and channel art, Pinterest, TikTok, Threads and a profile square. Click the photo to set the focal point, choose crop or fit, then download one size or the selection as a ZIP.
One image, every shape
Each platform wants a different shape β 1:1, 4:5, 9:16, 16:9, a 4:1 banner β and posting the wrong one means the platform crops for you, usually through someone's head. The fill mode crops each size around the point you clicked, so a face or product stays in frame from a tall story to a thin LinkedIn banner. The fit modes keep the whole photo and fill the gaps with a blurred copy (the look most video apps use) or a solid colour, which suits logos and screenshots. Sizes are the dimensions platforms currently recommend; they change from time to time, and banners are cropped further on phones, so keep text towards the centre. Aspect ratios explained: what 16:9, 4:3, 3:2 and 9:16 mean, and how to crop between them covers why the ratios differ. Next steps: the image compressor shrinks file size, the social image generator adds text and backgrounds, the thumbnail maker designs a YouTube thumbnail, and the bulk image resizer handles many photos at one size.
