Social Image Generator
Make Open Graph, Twitter, square and story images from a headline and your brand.
About this tool
Type a headline and a line of description, add your site name and optional logo, pick a theme and size, download the PNG. The card is drawn in your browser and nothing is uploaded.
Why the share image matters more than the page
When a link is pasted into Slack, iMessage, WhatsApp, LinkedIn or Facebook, the preview is most of what people see and it decides the click — a page with no og:image gets a blank grey box or a random cropped photo. The standard is a 1200×630 image (1.91:1) named in an og:image meta tag; X/Twitter's large card wants 1200×675 (16:9); Instagram takes squares and 1080×1920 stories. This tool renders those sizes with the text auto-sized and wrapped, an accent bar, a soft shape and your brand line, in six colour themes that pass contrast checks. Keep the headline short and large: previews are shown at thumbnail size, and text under about 40 px on the full card becomes unreadable there. Honest detail: the font is your system's, so the exact typeface varies slightly between devices; layout and colours don't. Put the PNG on your site and add the tag with the meta tag generator; a full-page screenshot dressed up by the screenshot beautifier makes a good alternative for product pages.
Frequently asked questions
What size should an Open Graph image be?
1200×630 pixels (1.91:1) is the safe standard for Facebook, LinkedIn, Slack and most apps. X/Twitter's large summary card is 1200×675. The generator has both.
How do I use the image?
Upload it to your site and add a meta tag: og:image pointing at its full URL (plus twitter:card = summary_large_image). The meta tag generator writes those lines.
Can I use my own logo?
Yes — choose a PNG (transparent works best); it sits beside the brand line at the bottom.
Is anything uploaded?
No — the card is drawn on a canvas in your browser and the download is generated locally.
