About this tool
Load a PDF, choose 90° right, 180° or 90° left, optionally limit it to certain pages ("2, 5-7"), download. Rotation is written as page metadata — the standard PDF mechanism — so nothing is re-rendered and quality is untouched, no matter how many times you rotate.

The sideways-scan survival guide
Sheet-fed scanners and phone apps produce three classic failures: everything 90° off (feed orientation — rotate all pages once), alternating upside-down pages (double-sided scanning flipped the backs — rotate just the even pages by 180 using the range box: "2, 4, 6…"), and one rogue landscape page in a portrait report (rotate just that page). Rotations stack arithmetically — two 90° turns make 180 — and per-page rotation is remembered relative to each page's existing state, so mixed-orientation documents come out right. Does rotating a PDF lose quality?
No — rotation is stored as page metadata, the same mechanism PDF has always had. Nothing is re-rendered or recompressed; text stays text and images stay untouched.
Can I rotate only some pages?
Yes — type the pages or ranges (like 2, 5-7) and only those turn. Empty means every page. Alternating upside-down backs from a duplex scan? Rotate the even pages 180°.
Which way is 90° right?
Clockwise — the top of the page moves to the right edge. If a scan reads with its text running upward, 90° right fixes it; text running downward wants 90° left.
