Invoice Generator
Fill in line items and print a clean invoice. Nothing uploaded.
Making an invoice
Fill in your details, the client's, and the line items; quantities multiply prices, tax is added at whatever rate you set, and the live preview is exactly what prints. Print-or-save-as-PDF lives in the browser's print dialog, and the printed page contains only the invoice — no site around it.
Nothing is uploaded or stored: the tool holds nothing between visits, which is the privacy point but also means print before you close the tab.
What belongs on an invoice
Almost everywhere expects: both parties' names and addresses, a unique sequential invoice number, the issue date, clear descriptions, and the total. Add payment terms ("Due within 14 days") and bank details in the notes — invoices without explicit terms get paid on the client's schedule, not yours.
If you are VAT or GST registered the bar rises: registration number on the document, tax shown as its own line (the tax field does this), and in many countries specific wording — check your tax authority's requirements. The VAT calculator handles add-or-strip arithmetic, the work hours calculator produces the decimal hours a services line needs, and sequential numbering is a rule worth automating in whatever you use for records: never reuse a number.
Frequently asked questions
How do I save the invoice as a PDF?
Press print and choose “Save as PDF” as the destination — every modern browser offers it. The output contains only the invoice, on white.
Is anything stored or uploaded?
No. The invoice exists only in your tab and vanishes when you close it, so print or save before leaving. Keep your own copy for records — most tax authorities expect invoices retained for years.
What must an invoice legally include?
Names and addresses of both parties, a unique sequential number, date, description and total — plus tax details if you are registered. Requirements vary by country, so check your tax authority's list.
Can I use this for VAT invoices?
The tax line handles the arithmetic, and you can put your registration number in the notes. Verify your jurisdiction's full requirements — VAT invoices have the strictest rules.
