The first invoice takes a few minutes; the second takes thirty seconds — because the generator remembers, on this device, everything that repeats: your business details and logo, your tax label and rate, your payment notes, your recent clients, and your invoice numbering (INV-007 auto-suggests INV-008). Saved invoices can be reopened to edit, or duplicated — the recurring-invoice workflow: same client and lines, next number, today's date.

The live preview sits beside the form and is exactly what prints; print-or-save-as-PDF produces only the invoice, no site around it. Three templates (classic, bold, minimal), an accent colour, your logo, a dozen currencies, discounts by percent or amount, and a paid/balance-due line for deposits cover the flexibility real invoicing needs.

What belongs on an invoice

Almost everywhere expects: both parties' names and addresses, a unique sequential invoice number, the issue date, clear descriptions, and the total. Add payment terms ("Due within 14 days") and bank details in the notes — invoices without explicit terms get paid on the client's schedule, not yours.

If you are VAT or GST registered the bar rises: registration number on the document (there is a field for it), tax shown as its own line, and in many countries specific wording — check your tax authority's requirements. On storage, honestly: saved invoices live in this browser's local storage — private and instant, but not an archive. Nothing syncs between devices, and clearing site data deletes everything, so keep printed PDFs as the permanent record; tax authorities expect invoices retained for years.
