Baby Tracker
Log breastfeeds, bottles, nappies and sleep with one tap; saved on your phone.
About this tool
Tap Left or Right when a breastfeed starts and Stop when it ends. You can also log bottles in ml or oz, wet and dirty nappies, and naps with the sleep timer. The top line shows how long ago the last feed was and which side is next. Cards show today's and the last 24 hours' totals, and the log can be back-dated, edited by deleting entries and exported as CSV.
Why track feeds and nappies
In the newborn weeks, feeds blur together and nobody can remember whether the last one was at 2 or 3 o'clock, or which side it was on. A simple log answers that at a glance and gives midwives, health visitors and paediatricians real numbers if they ask. NHS guidance says newborns usually feed 8 to 12 times in 24 hours, sometimes in clusters. Wet and dirty nappies are the best everyday sign that a baby is getting enough milk: from about day 5, expect at least 6 heavy wet nappies a day, plus regular soft yellow poos in breastfed babies. The tracker counts both for today and for the last 24 hours. Alternating sides helps with comfort and supply, so the "next side" hint follows the last breastfeed. Bottle totals add up in ml or oz, and sleep totals come from the naps you time. Because everything is saved in this browser, a locked phone or a closed tab doesn't lose a running timer. Use one phone or tablet as the family log, since entries don't sync between devices. Important: this is a log, not medical advice. Contact your midwife, health visitor, GP or NHS 111 (or your local equivalent) straight away if your baby feeds poorly, has fewer wet nappies, seems drowsy or unwell, or you're worried. Clear all data deletes everything. The baby age calculator, the due date calculator and the sleep calculator are related.
