About this generator
Enter your network name and password, get a QR code guests scan to join — no more spelling out Wi-Fi passwords syllable by syllable. Phones (iPhone since iOS 11, Android since 10) recognise the standard WIFI: format natively in the camera app.
The part that matters for a password tool: the code is generated entirely in your browser. The password is never sent anywhere, never stored, and deliberately not remembered — reload the page and it's gone. Free, no account.
Printing and placing it
Download the PNG and print it for the guest room, the fridge, the café counter or the back of the router. Two practical notes: anyone who can photograph the code can join (it encodes the real password), so place it with the same care you'd give the password written on paper; and if you rename the network or change the password, regenerate — the code stores credentials, not a link to them. Is it safe to type my WiFi password here?
The code is generated on your device — the password is never uploaded, stored or remembered, and the page works the same if you go offline first. The QR itself does contain the real password, so treat the printout like a written password.
How do guests use the code?
Point the phone camera at it — iPhones (iOS 11+) and Android (10+) show a "Join network" prompt natively; older Androids may need a QR scanner app.
Does it work for hidden networks?
Yes — tick the hidden-network box so the code includes the flag phones need to find a network that doesn't broadcast its name.
What if I change my WiFi password?
Reprint. The code encodes the credentials themselves, so an old code keeps offering the old password until you replace it.
