Truth or Dare
Family-friendly truth or dare prompts that never repeat until used up.
About this generator
Two buttons, sixty prompts โ thirty truths, thirty dares โ all genuinely family-friendly: safe for sleepovers, classrooms, office parties and mixed company, with nothing to vet first. Prompts are drawn shuffle-bag style, so nothing repeats until the whole deck has been used.
Running a good game
The rules that keep it fun: players choose truth or dare before hearing the prompt (choosing after is the coward's way); anyone may pass once per game; dares never involve leaving the room, other people's property, or anything that ends up online without the darer's enthusiastic consent. Turn order matters less than momentum โ go clockwise and keep it brisk. For picking who starts, the random picker settles it; for other party staples, Secret Santa and bingo cards are in the same drawer.
Frequently asked questions
Are the prompts really family-friendly?
Yes โ every truth and dare is safe for kids, classrooms and workplaces. No alcohol, nothing romantic, nothing humiliating: embarrassing-story territory at worst.
Do questions repeat?
Not until the deck is exhausted โ prompts are drawn from a shuffled bag, so all 30 truths (or dares) appear once before any comes around again.
What are good house rules?
Choose truth or dare before hearing the prompt, one pass per player per game, and dares stay in the room and off the internet. Those three rules prevent essentially all truth-or-dare disasters.
How many players work best?
Four to eight keeps turns coming quickly. Bigger groups work if you split into two circles โ or use dares as a whole-group vote on who performs them.
