Banner Maker
Printable letter-per-page party banners and bunting.
About this tool
Type your message, choose solid or outline letters, full pages or bunting pennants and a colour, then print: each letter goes on its own sheet, ready to hang on a string.
Making a printable banner
A letter-per-page banner is the easiest way to make a big decoration with an ordinary printer: each sheet carries one giant letter, and hung in a row they spell out the message across a wall or doorway. Type HAPPY BIRTHDAY, WELCOME HOME, CONGRATULATIONS, GOOD LUCK or a name. Spaces become a star so the words stay apart. Choose solid letters in any colour, or outline letters for children to colour in at a party (they also save ink). Pick full pages, or bunting pennants (triangles with hole markers) to trim and thread onto string or ribbon. To hang it, punch holes at the top corners, thread string through in order, and leave a gap of a few centimetres between pages; clothes pegs or washi tape work too. A 14-letter message like HAPPY BIRTHDAY uses 14 sheets (including the star), so check you have enough paper and ink before printing. Honest limits: the on-screen previews are small, but each prints full size. Fonts depend on your device, messages are limited to 60 characters, and long banners use a lot of paper. The sign and poster maker and the big text generator are related.
